This is one of the traditional guacamole combinations served in Mexico. It is served as a side dish with chips, but it also is favored as a main ingredient in a taco.

2 RIPE AVOCADOS, PEELED

1/2 c TOMATOES, CHOPPED
SALAD BOWL or MOLCAJETE
1/4 c ONION, CHOPPED
SERVES 4
1/4 c CILANTRO, CHOPPED
1 CLOVE GARLIC, CRUSHED
2 Tbsps LEMON JUICE
1 SMALL SERRANO CHILE, SEEDED AND CHOPPED
SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE

Mash avocados with a fork until creamy. Add other ingredients and stir lightly until well mixed
